About the Event

Paul Fleury grew up with the cello, starting at the age of six. He has been a professional musician for the past 30 years, teaching for the last 20. He has performed around the globe with several orchestras and concert acts, including the Mantovani Orchestra. He is currently principal cellist for five orchestras. He has been a noted soloist with many symphonies around Florida. In addition to classical, Paul has performed on Broadway with Aida, Les Miserable, Lion King, Sound of Music, and frequently tours with names like Led Zeppelin, Bernadette Peters, Aretha Franklin, Donna Summer, Chicago. With 64 albums in his discography, Mr. Fleury has written over 250 arrangements and original works and is a published author on cello and string methods. His technique books are used internationally, and his compositions have been heard in the Olympics, Television, and Movie Scores.

Melody Long Anglin, harpist, vocalist, conductor, performer, educator, composer, arranger and author, has a master’s degree in Music Performance and a Harp Therapy Certification. She performs locally and abroad for classical, pops, and therapeutic concerts, corporate conventions, television, radio, and private events. She has appeared with the Atlantic Center for the Arts, Seaside Music Theater, Florida International Festival; Brevard, Bartlesville, Tulsa Symphonies; Ormond Beach and Ocala Festival Orchestras and World Radio Network - Australia, the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria; local PBS, NPR; and for the World Harp Orchestra, San Diego and PTL Satellite Network’s "Sunday Night Live." Melody has worked with Dave Brubeck, and American celebrated composers David Diamond, Jacob Druckman, and Franco Autori - assistant conductor to Arturo Toscanini.
